Live blogging: "Lost"

Oh Sayid, you're looking mighty sexy in your future flashback.

I'm actually starting this late because I had to eat some dinner.

That being said we're starting at 9:15.

Jack and Kate talk and share a moment. Jack sends Kate to go with Sayid and the "Ghost Whisperer" go to get Charlotte. The pilot asks about Sayid's past and Jack tells him that he was a torturer.

And we're at commerical: Here's what happened the OTHER 14 minutes. We start out with Sayid on a really goregous golf course and he makes a friendly wager with another golfer. Sayid loses and insists on paying the other golfer: with a bullet.

Um, I'd think if I'd have known the outcome, I would have let him win for SURE.

Then we flash backward to the island and Sayid closes Naomi's dead eyes (sooo cliche here) and sees a bracelet she has. It has an inscription on it and then he asks the pilot could he go to the boat. Sayid promises to bring Charlotte back safe and sound but only if he'll take him to the boat. The pilot answers with"he'll get them OFF the island." which we now know that Sayid DOES get off but how????

Flash forward, Sayid picks up a blond in a coffee bar they make chit chat and a date.

Sayid plans on going for Charlotte and tells Jack that he'll need to stay behind. Kate asks Jack how does it feel to be left behind and he says should he do like her and "wait 20 minutes and then go anyway" (I love Jack!)

It's 9:21 and Sayid, Kate and "The Ghost Whisperer" go after Charlotte. After some playful and witty banter, we go back to the fast-foward. Sayid and the blond have apparently gotten closer. Sayid grabs the blond's beeper (yes BEEPER) and they head out.

It's 9:23 and there's some lovey dovy action going on. I look away and then we're back at the helicopter where Dr. Whocares is busy setting up some sort of device. Jack and the pilot look on and Jack wants to know his story. Dr Whocares activates the phone and asks Regina to fire out some sort of payload.

But the beacon never arrives. Sayid and his crew arrive at the barracks and head into the area. The Ghost Whisper wonders about the swingset and Kate and Sayid doesn't give him an answer.

They find Hurley in the closet! (NO, let's not go there). But it's beginning to make sense: Jack, Sayid, Hurley and Sayid all make it off the island. I'm guessing that they make it out on the helicopter but for some reason, they can't get back. Now the question is: Who are the other two? And is the person in the coffin one of the Oceanic Six or was there SEVEN and he died?

It's 9:31 and now Hurley is spilling his guts to Sayid's crew. Jack and the pilot talks and Jack tells the pilot it's been 100 days since he saw the game. The payload finally arrives but it's a good few minutes late. What's going on?

Juliet shows up and she has Desmond. (I forgot all about Desmond!)

Kate and crew search the barracks and find: empty closets?

Sayid pulls a dresser out and finds a fake wall. Of course he goes in and sees Ben's secret staff of passports and British pounds. It looks as if Ben has left the island a bunch. And then we find that Hurley CONNED them and is with the crew after all. He gives a sheepish "Sorry dude" and we're off to commericial: AGAIN!

It's 9:38 and it seems like the commericial break just goes on and on...

GAWD: ABC is trying to force some crappy old reality show down my throat. Luckily this big old piece of chocolate cake I'm eating is blocking the b.s. or I'd be in trouble.

It's 9:41 and Sayid and Ben are now locked in the same cell. Kate is in a room with Sawyer and a hospital bed. Kate says she believes Jack can get them off the island. Sawyer says he has nothing waiting for him there. He asks her why she wants to get off the island so bad. He says they should stay and play house. (AWWW) . But she isn't having it.

Lock brings Sayid and Ben some ice tea but I think he must not know about Sayid. Ben watches Sayid and play who has the biggest balls.

Flash forward and Sayid and the blond are lying in bed after some L-O-V-I-N'. The blond now realizes that she doesn't know anything about him. She then says she's in love with Sayid and he looks conflicted.

Sayid tells the blond no more secrets and then the beeper that the blond has been carrying around goes off. (Of course it would). Sayid tells her that she needs to leave Berlin and Sayid reveals that he was using her to get to her employer. Of course she's ticked.

Sayid says her employer is on a list and the blond shoots Sayid. It turns out SHE was using him! OMG! And then he kills her!! Wow!

He even strokes her hair and closes her eyes like he did Naomi and then sees she had a bracelet like HERS!
Yep, it's official. I'm this show's bitch. And we're off to commericial: AAARGGGGHHHHH!!!

EWWW: Viagra commericial !!!!!!!

And ooooh: A commericial for Oprah's new reality show!! "Oprah's Big Give"

Desmond questions them about Penelope and SAyid arrives with Charlotte but no Miles and Kate. Jack looks shocked that Kate isn't there and Sayid said he traded Charlotte for Miles.

Charlotte says she's saying and Daniel says he's going to stay. Dr Whoecares tells the pilot to stay on the same bearing they came in on. Jack stays and it looks as if Naomi is the one who'll be on the helicopter. So it looks as if Sayid, Desmond, the pilot and Naomi's body all attempt to leave the island. And YAY they take off and Sayid looks so happy he could just cry.

And it looks as if they have officially left the island!

Suddnely we're in a clinic where there are tons of animals. Sayid is still wounded and it looks as if a mysterious man will be taking out the bullet. Sayid is talking to BEN!!! OMG and Ben is Sayid's employer and it looks as if he's working for Ben to protect his friends.

Sayid tells Ben they know he's after them now and Ben says GOOD.

WOW!

Next week: Another one of the six is revealed!

Checking out Saturday night TV

I haven't watched this show in years but tonight's episodes were pretty darn interesting. Photo by MTV.com

I've been working on a project all day long and was afraid that I'd have to bypass my television viewing for tonight. Then I got a jingle on my cell phone from my friend Jump the Snark reminding me to watch "Torchwood" tonight. I tried to beg off but my friend he wasn't having it. Once again: He was right. And so was Mrs. Wong. And so was Ani. I have to accept that they all are cooler than me and move on.

But I'm in denial so there!

I think I'm beginning to figure out what's going on. Mrs. Wong reminded me that this was a spin-off from some show called "Dr. Who." (I can see them both rolling their eyes here but I've never seen Dr. Who).

So then I was flipping through the channels and stumbled across a show I used to like. "True Life" on MTV.

I haven't watched it in YEARS. When it started it was extremely interesting because it dealt with young people making stupid mistakes or learning about life. And then I veered away from the show because more interesting stuff was on.

Tonight was a show about "Friends With Benefits" but I think it should have been called "One person's being selfish and the other person is cruising for their heart to be broken." Seriously, how can this NOT be considered a BAD idea???

I'm no saint because I've had those types of arraignments (YES: TMI) before and they NEVER work out. But I guess everyone must learn on their own. The thing is, is that the people who didn't want to get caught up in a relationship really aren't all of that.

But the sex must be AMAZING because folks are crying on NATIONAL TV. And get this, the guy Scott who lives in NYC is too "focused" on his career but yet he has time to hook-up with another hottie. And in Indiana this girl Britney is stringing this guy along named Sean. She's kinda tacky and her hair is quite unfortunate. (If you're not a blond in real life, don't be one on TV)

That being said,I doubt I'll continue to watch this show, but what the heck, it killed an hour.

In search of the Black Canary: Smallville

Yeah, I feel like screaming too after watching this horrid version of one of my favorite DC Comics heroines. Photo by CWTV.com

My good friend Mrs. Wong still watches "Smallville" after all these years. I check it when superheroes from the DC Comics universe show up. Last night, I DVR'd "Smallville" while I watched "Survivor" and then I had to watch "Lost" and then I zipped through "Smallville." It was the right choice for me.

My apologies Mrs. Wong, but here's what I didn't like:
I haven't watched this show in forever and everyone looks very old. Tom Welling will be 31 years old in April and he looks every bit of it. He's supposed to be playing I would guess now early 20s. While it worked in the early days of this show, now, it doesn't.

Allison Mack as Chloe is still as cute as ever and she's 25 but if these kids don't graduate soon, she's going to start looking her age too.

And Lana, poor Lana (Kristin Kruek). She is 25 but is looking more like 30 plus. Her storyline is just ridiculous and she's less than convincing as the ex-wife of Lex Luthor.

But what I'm really miffed at is the show's attempt to do Black Canary. The story behind Black Canary is that she's a florist by day and a crime fighter by night. She is one of the most skilled fighters within the DC Universe (some say she can fight the Batman to a standstill). But her biggest weapon is her "Canary Cry" which is a hypersonic (not SUBsonic) cry that can shatter class and even punch a hole through steel. See for yourself here.

What we saw last night was a lady in bad leather with knives and no acting ability whatsoever.

But the one thing I DO want to see is a Justice League spinoff because it looks like it'll be hellacool. Get on it CW!

"Surivor" :Fan vs. Favorites

Cirie, please win for all of us coach potatoes everywhere.

At first, I thought this Fans vs. Favorites idea was crappy. But color me impressed because the favorites gave us a great show. Seriously because 15 minutes in alliances were ALREADY being formed. One was, Amie, Eliza, Jonathan and Yau, the other was Ozzie, Parvati, James and Amanda. Both alliances wanted Jonny Fairplay but no one seemed to want Cirie, which is interesting since she played a good game last time. I'm rooting fr her.

Here's some mistakes I'm noticing already:
Folks are not thinking with the right heads (James, Ozzy, I'm looking at BOTH of you)

The fans are overestimating themselves right now. You don't have experience. These people do. Learn from them.

I can't wait to see how where this goes.

The Boondocks: The gay episode

I don't know whether to laugh or be totally offended by the "gay" episode of "The Boondocks"

So the return of Gangstalicious returned on "The Boondocks" on Monday night. For those of you who don't know, last season Riley discovered that rapper Gangstalicious was gay. Riley kept the secret and now Gangastalicious is repaying him with free tickets and shoutouts.

If you can get past the language it's one of the funniest of the season. And in an uncomfortable way.

Why is Diane Saywer wasting her time?

Diane, you deserved better than what Charlie and George was dishing out on Tuesday night. Photo by ABC.com

So here's the deal. I was watching ABC news (my partner's idea, not mine) to see the battle among the candidates to see who would be the Republican and Democratic front runners. I got distracted by the dominance of George and Charlie. Charlie is the lead anchor so that makes sense but George? Really?

Poor Diane was regulated to giving weak stats on the sideline. She deserved a better role than that.

Yes, I watched the Super Bowl

Alicia Keys and her singing was the highlight of my Super Bowl afternoon the outfit, however, notsomuch. Photo by NFL.com

It's 6:26 p.m. and I've been watching the Super Bowl for the past few hours. I don't care about the game but I wanted to watch for the commericials. And I have to say the only commercial that I actually liked was the one featuring the Budweiser Clydesdale horse training a la Rocky. The rest kinda sucked. I was disappointed with the "Iron Man" commercial too because it didn't show me anything new.

Maybe because it was a dreary, rainy afternoon here in San Diego but I was kinda meh on the whole thing. You'd think I'd be all over men in tight uniforms running and sweating but it did next to nothing for me.

I'm looking up and it's now 6:34 p.m. and lordy, it looks like something is finally happening! The score is 10 to 7 with the New York Giants leading the New England Patriots. I'm rooting for the Patriots because I want Junior Seau to FINALLY get the danged Super Bowl ring so he can sit his behind down. He's old like me and 39 year old men should not be running up and down this football field like they're 24.

Oh, and my other favorite part was the "celebrities" they showed in the crowd: Pam Anderson, Jordin Sparks, Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy and of course Peyton Manning who was watching his lil' bro on the field.

MY GAWD! The Patriots just scored! The score is now 14 to 10. Thank you GAWD. He'll finally get that ring!

And then two of the worst commericals ever just aired. One for AMP from Mountain Dew (Can this group please stop hawking this song) and the other from American Idol which showed NFL players trying to sing.

Wow, when I started this I hadn't planned on live blogging this but oh, well, I'm flexible.

We now have 1 min, 20 sec left. and it's about 6:50 which means this will take about 10 min to do. Eli Manning almost threw an interception which isn't good for the Giants fans We have 59 seconds left and the Giants are in good position on the field.

After 3 hours, NOW the game gets interesting???!!! They now have a first down and we have 40 seconds left. Wow, this really, really is going to go to the bitter end.

The Giants just scored!!!!!!!! and we have 35 seconds left and the crowd is going wild. My poor heart is breaking, just breaking for Junior Seau right now. Score is now 17-14 Giants!!! But we have 35 seconds left and a lot can happen.

The Patriots have the ball and we have 29 seconds left. This might be the longest 29 seconds ever. The Patriots coach Bill Bellachick looks like he's ready to blow a gasket right now. Tom Brady gets SACKED and we're now down to 19 seconds left.

They just showed Junior and he's looking kinda sad. Brady does a great throw but the Giants guys can smell the win and they are playing for their lives. We're down to 10 seconds now. We really now are down the last play of the game, it's do or die here. Do you believe in miracles? I don't. And it looks like I'm right. And the game is now over!!!!!! Giants win!!!!!! But wait, we have 1 second left and they are trying to get everyone off the field. You can here the crowd chant "Eli, Eli!". Yeah, it's over.

Torchwood

It's funny, it's scary, it's "Torchwood" Photo by BBC America

My friend Jump the Snark has been after me for a while to watch this show. Now, why did I doubt him? I dunno but I'm on the "Torchwood" train.

I can't say I didn't know about this show because numerous people (Thank you for the clarification Mrs. Wong) told me about it but I didn't give it a chance. Now I'm ready.

I'm going to try to make this Saturday night appointment TV.

Live blogging LOST!

Oh NO! Jack you may have doomed them all. Photo by ABC.com

Yay: Here we go:

9:05: OMG: We discover that six people get off the Island and they are part of the Oceanic Six. We know Kate and Jack are one and two, and it looks like Hurley is No. 3! We discover this after he leads police on a high speed chase through L.A. and crashes.

9:08: Ick! An Ana-Lucia reference. The cop interviewing Hurley says Ana-Lucia was his partner before he made detective.

9:10 Hurley is having visions and they aren't good ones.

9:14: Hurley does a cannonball but before we're subjected to a slo-mo run and see his manboobs jiggle.

9:19: Jack sends everyone back to the beach. Naomi's is bleeding and they are looking for her body. Kate and Jack hug as Ben looks on waiting for an opportunity. At the beach, Sawyer, Jin, Desmond and Sayeid all are worried about what Charley's message says about these people not being Penny.

9:21: Flash foward: Hurley meets an attorney for Oceanic airlines while in the asylum. They offer him an upgrade to a better facility. He freaks out when he asks "Are THEY still alive?" (Oh god, who is THEY????!!! DAY-UM these people with the questions!!)

9:24: Sawyer shows compassion to Hurley and asks if he wants to talk about Charley. (AWWW)

9:25 Hurley gets lost and it's not looking good. The Island gets pissed with al lthe yelling and he wanders to a shack where he hears voices.

9:29: Jack, Ben and The French Lady are in the middle of the jungle and Jack realizes that he's been had. Kate takes the phone and finds the real blood trail and gets a call from the boat. She then ends the call and then is attacked by Naomi. She calls for someone named George. And we see that she's been hurt pretty badly and then dies after she tells George to tell her sister that she loved her. (Bye Naomi)

9:33: Hurley sees Jacob in the rocking chair and promptly freaks out. He then runs again and sees the cabin again. And then he sees Locke and it's commercial time! (AAAACK!!! Come back NOOOOOOWWWW!!!)

9:37: ABC is trying to shove "Eli Stone" down my throat and I'm not trying to buy (CRAP) Just saw a tease for Oceanic Airlines and guess what: It's going to air during "Eli freaking Stone." (Heck, I'll wait and let someone tell me about it, I'm old and need my rest)

9:39. LONGEST. COMMERICAL. BREAK. EVER!!!

9:40: Hurley and Locke talk and share water. Hurley and Locke make some sort of alliance and it creeps me out. Hurley catches up at 9:40. Hurley gives this quote "Sorry, I got lost..."

9:41: The Lost tribe arrives back at the meeting point. Lots of random people I've never seen also arrive looking remarkably fresh. Claire looks around for Charlie (And we see that during the hiatus girlfriend got some new highlights). Hurley tells Claire that Charlie didn't make it and cries and cries.

9:43: Flash forward. Mental patient tells Hurley that the ghost of Charlie is back and staring at him. Hurley reveals that it was Charlie was what caused him to freak out at the store. Hurley is hit by Charlie and he begins to believe that Charlie has something to tell him. (Hmm, I'm wondering if this is a manifestation of guilt here...)

9:45: Charlie tells Hurley that he has something to tell him and he says "They need you, you know they need you."

9:45: Claire wants to know what happened and how Charlie died.

9:46: Jack punches the $hit out of Locke and holds a gun to his head. Juliet stops him from killing Locke. Jack fires at Locke and realizes that the gun isn't loaded. And damn ANOTHER commerical break!

9:51: I get it. "Eli Stone" is NEXT!!!!!!

9:51: Jack is still beating the crap out of Locke who's amazingly able to take some punches.

9:51: Locke and Jack fight. Kate emerges from the jungle and says Naomi saved them. Locke says he's going to the barracks. Locke tells people to go with him. Hurley says he's going with Locke. And gives us some amazing acting.

9:54: Team Jack and Team Locke form. Team Locke" Claire, Ben, Hurley and Sawyer. Team Jack: Jack, Kate, Rose, Bernard and Juliet.

9:56: Team viewer confused: Me, me and ME.

9:57: Flashforward: Hurley and Jack reunite. Hurley is in a bathrobe and Jack is looking like Dapper Dan.

9:57: Jack says he might grow a beard and Hurley asks the real reason Jack is there. Apparently there's something to tell and Jack's worried about "the secret." Hurley apologize for going with Locke and says he should have stayed with Jack. (WHA?? HUH???). I think it wants us to go back. (What's IT???? HUH????? WHA????) Hurley then says :"Never say never dude."

10:00: Jack and Kate seek refuge from the storm near some plane wreckage and then hear a helicopter! The run through the woods and then see a guy who landed on the island!!

OMG: that explosion you've just heard is my mind being blown!

They are back: "Lost" returns

Jack and the crew are back. Let's hope the magic is back with them. ABC.com

I had given up on this show. It was boring. The formula was tired and I was ready to give up. Then I tuned in to the season finale and was blown. A-WAY!

Kate and Jack get off the island! More people follow! Jack's a mess and Kate actually looks good with makeup! This alone makes me want more. Tonight we get the "enhanced" version of the finale with the premiere of Season 4 tomorrow.

I'll be watching: for now.

Is it time for Hollywood week yet?

Lordy, Why do we keeping hearing one sad song after another? This one is a single-mom who wants to do better. Fox.com

Last night "AI" viewers were in Omaha and tonight we were in Miami. Me, I was in hell.

One bad audition after another filled my screen. I cannot wait until some of this deadweight gets dropped. All of this screeching needs to STOP. NOW!!!

When "Supermodels" get raunchy!

Perry rocked out the photoshoot this week with Casey and even won the challenge. Photo by BravoTV.com

This week the models learned abour sexual chemistry and some had it more than others on camera and some off the photoshoot.

The manlove drama of Ben and Ronnie continued this week as Ben was spared elimination (Thanks America!). Ronnie is beside himself with joy and even said that Ben said something might happen if he had a few drinks in him. The BAD thing about this quote is that Ben IS married to a woman and is a prison guard. This combo equals all shades of wrong.

At the photoshoot, models paired off and Holly and Frankie had no chemistry whatsoever.

Holly apparently is saving herself for marriage and felt so uncomfortable about some random dude feeling her up. Frankie was ticked and tried to paint Holly as a drunk since she drank at the photoshoot. I'm guessing if you're not having sex with your fiance, you're probably not a drunk at a photoshoot.

Aryn and Jay both had problems too. She's resting on pretty and he cannot model.

Inevitiably Holly, Jay and Aryn were in the bottom three. If there was any justice, Frankie should be too because besides the hair, he really isn't that hot himself.

"Betty' is gone...for now

Amanda was on fire tonight and she finally found her daddy : Gene Simmons. Photo by ABC.com

The last new episode of "Ugly Betty" had some thrills, some chills and a bunch of comedy. We start with HIlda trying to pretty up Betty for a night out on the town. It looks really tragic and Justin in one of this two scenes on the whole episode tells Betty "No!"

We then head over to Henry's band the IRS (Interal Rhythm Service) playing a gig at a local nightclub. Daniel shows up to lend support and runs into a mysterious woman name Rene (Gabrielle Union) who wants him to dance with her to make her boyfriend jealous. When Daniel busts her by saying her "boyfriend" is making out with another guy, she realizes the jig is up. The two flirt and then go back to Daniel's place and to his dark bedroom where Daniel accidentally grabs his mom's breast (Don't ask).

The main story is Daniel trying to convince Betty to write an article on a sexist pig and Gio and Henry competing to see who's the bigger stud. The B plot is Daniel and Rene trying to decide if they want to see each other despite Willie's objections. The C Amanda's quest to find her daddy. And the D plot is Daniel and Alexis trying to find something for their mom to do.

How cute was Betty and Henry tonight singing this song. And what a great image to leave us with.

American Idol: The San Diego and Charleston auditions

Bad fashions, a bad attitude and bad singing made for an awful edition of "American Idol." Photo by Fox.com

There are no words as to how bad this was. We saw one performance after another. Very few good performances. And there were a couple of people who were good who didn't make it. Lord, why?? And what was up with them showing very few people from San Diego.

And as a native South Carolinian, I was embarrassed for Charleston. One tacky person after another. And this one dude with the red pants was just hor-ri-ble and tacky.

Check back on Sunday afternoons....

Hey everyone
You'll notice that the ol' blog has slowed down tremendously. Part of that is due to the old writers' strike and part of this is because I've been incredibly busy imparting knowledge to the next generation of young writers.

That being said, I've become remiss in my old TV blog duties. So I'm still blogging but not every day anymore and I'm moving back to Sunday afternoons where I'll give you my recaps of the week in TV viewing.

I thank you in advance for your patience in this and know that even though I'm not writing, I am watching!

I'm changing my mind about "Make Me a Supermodel"

Ronnie is my new TV boyfriend. Photo by Bravo TV.

"Make Me a Supermodel" is actually not bad! The second episode was much better than the first and unfortunately some girl who I barely remember was kicked off. I was about to give up on this show but there's some manlove going on between Ronnie and Ben and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Ronnie might wind up in the top three and it looks like Ben might be on his way out because he's in the bottom three along with Dominic the D.J and some other girl who's barely made an impression.

And the winner is......

Yay to TK and Rachel for winning "The Amazing Race". Photo by CBS.com

It came down to a complicated challenge that allowed them to pull out ahead of the powerhouse known as Ron and Christina. It made me sooo sad but I knew I would be OK with whoever won.

Bring on TAR 13!

They're baaack! Meet the women of "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 10

I haven't seen a show, but Claire's my pick to win this season. Of course, I haven't been right yet so who knows. Photo by The CW.com

I am counting down the DAYS until "America's Next Top Model" returns and based on the bios and scuttlebutt, this looks to be an interesting season.

Twiggy has been Auf'd (oops. wrong show) and some woman I've never heard of is in. At least we have Jay2 (squared) to add some comedy and drama to the mix.

That being said, you can read all about them and make YOUR early picks here.

"American Idol" does Dallas

Could one of these people from the Dallas auditions be the next "American Idol"? Based on what we saw tonight, nope. Photo by Fox.com

"Idol' stopped by Dallas tonight looking for talent and instead they found some of the worst singers in the land. It kept getting worse and worse and worse. To me, NO one stood out and they seemed to be carbon copies of past "Idol" singers. We'll see what happens in San Diego in Tuesday.

Tuesday, January 15, 2008

Darn it I got sucked in!

Could someone from San Diego be the next "American Idol" ? We'll have to watch to find out. Photo by Fox.com

Today was an awful day so I turned to "Idol" to lift my spirits. We kicked off this season in Philly in the city of Brotherly Love. Apparently, there's like 6 people who can sing in the whole city because everyone else was AWFUL, HORRIBLE with a dash of TERRIBLE.

Seriously bad. Like let's wipeout their bloodline bad. It's good to see Paula coherent and make decent comments. One girl broke my heart: Temptress. She was singing to help out her family and what broke my heart was that she was severely overweight and her mom was in a wheelchair and using oxygen. She too looked as if she weighed around 500 lbs. And the montage of folks singinging "I Love Rock and Roll" oy vey!

Happy Birthday Jen!

Oh Jen. You were SUCH a hater. Hate kills. Especially on "The Amazing Race!" Photo by CBS.com

YAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!! Nate and Jen were FINALLY shown the door tonight. Best of all, they got eliminated ON HER BIRTHDAY! Oh, how sweet it is!

If there's any justice these two are NOT together anymore. Not Pete and Sarah has two people on this show clearly NOT been meant for each other.

And now it's on: The Final Three: Ron and Chris, Nicholas and Don and TK and Rachel.

It's clearly going to be a battle between Ron and Chris and TK and Rachel. But Don and Nick might surprise us.

Watching the "Golden Globes"

WORST. SHOW AWARD SHOW EVER!

I mean it's a news conference but dang the sad little music isn't helping and the bad announcements aren't that great either. So far there are no surprises here. I think I'm going to save myself an hour and just read the list online tomorrow.

The guiltiest pleasure of all: Cheaters!

Since there's next to nothing on, I went back to the best show EVER: "Cheaters."

Last night, I was still ticked about the roof leaking and I stayed up waayyyy too late and wound up watching "Cheaters" which I haven't seen in a good few months.

If you don't know Cheaters (See season 5 episode 503 Ethan Roberts-Juan Cavala as the BEST EPISODE EVER!) the premise is this: Somone suspects someone of cheating and they hire the Cheaters crew to research. Here's a hint, if they are broadcasting the show, the person is cheating.

They show the audience the clips of the other person cheating and then they show the husband/wife who hired them. Then comes the "Confrontation" where the Cheaters cameras rush to the spot where the cheating spouse/partner is there with the other person and then the person who hired them usually cusses them out or fights. After five minutes of holding people apart, the host Joey Greco approaches the cheater and tries to get a reason why the cheating happened. He or she then usually drives off and they update the audience at the end of the show as to what happened next. And then they were on to the next person.

It's sad how low people will go to keep someone and it's sad to see how quickly people will cheat if given a chance.

That being said, I've learned a LOT from this show. Here are a few lessons:

1) NEVER kiss someone in public. You never know who'll be watching or who's recording you
2) Don't go to Applebee's. Even though this show is filmed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where the chain seems to be on every street corner, stay AWAY because it seems that's the first place Cheaters will look for you.

It's Saturday night: Do you know where good TV is?

Thank god Superman and Co. saved the evening after a crappy day. Photo by Wikipedia.

Today has been a crappy today. I went out and ran some errands today and came home to a leaky roof! I don't know how or why but my roof is leaking and it sucks. It's stopped (for now) and so I wanted to relax and unwind with some TV.

But unfortunately there's nothing on. Nada. Zip. Zero. So I did something I haven't done in a while and that's pull out old DVDs I own. The first one was "Justice League Unlimited" and so I had to watch my favorite episode "Grudge Match" which has Huntress, Black Canary, Hawkgirl and Vixen fighting Wonder Woman. Watch the clip, it's the meat of the episode.

So this then put me in the mood to watch Wonder Woman Season 1 and that reminded me of the AWFUL pilot that starred Arte Johnson and Cloris Leachman. It's soo hysterically bad it's good. Bad green screen, bad acting, a bad wonder spin And speaking of BAD WONDER SPINS (Seriously, this is sooo hysterically bad it's not even funny!) And then I had to watch my FAVORITE Wonder Woman episode ever! so this crappy day turned into a really good night!

Will we find America's next top model on this show? Probably not

Meet Cory Bautista. He's supposed to be the great and powerful Oz in fashion. Me, I kinda doubt it but that's what Nikki Taylor and Tyson says, so oh well. But hey, he can't be too bad because he introduced me to the new terms "model cute" and "boyfriend cute" Photo by BravoTV.com

Last night, the "Make Me a Supermodel" premiered on Bravo and because I'm old and can't stay up to 10 p.m. every freaking single night of the week, I opted to let the power of the DVR work for me and viola: today's recap.

Before I begin, I'm going to say I'm suspicious of the time element of this show. Supposedly we start on Jan. 4 but I could swear I saw photos of Tyson online BEFORE this with this episode wearing the same clothes and this was at least THREE weeks ago. The difference between this show and Tyra's is that we, the viewers, will select who stays and who goes. Again, I'm suspicious. Let's remember the same thing happens on this other talent show (cough, cough "Idol") and we all see how THAT works out. Yes Jessica Sierra, I'm looking at you.

It's cold as you know what on the day of filming because these kids are so cold I can see their thoughts freezing up whild Nikki and Tyson are so warm and snuggly in their coats. Its also funny to see them in coats and seeing people walking by them on the street while they're on a raised stage.

Of course we get the blah, blah, blah of "nerves" and "intimidation" etc. What's also funny is to hear NIkki Taylor speak. She has one poor flat monotone. Tyson also known as "Fine" does a much better job.

A flaw with this show already: We don't know who's who yet. We seriously need names on the screen during photo shoots. Besides Ben and Ronnie (My Ex was a porn star but I didn't know it) and Holly and Jacki I can't tell who's who with the girls.

And I had to giggle while looking at Ronnie's profile where it says Times at the Bottom: 0 (Yeah, right)

What I liked was that Tyson helped with the photos by coaching and giving much needed direction. But was anyone else impressed with the photos? Nope.

I'm also a bit ticked that Cory who's clearly fat himself are telling skinny people to lose weight or that their body isn't worthy of being a model.

But onto the best part of the show: Tyson in a red swimsuit. Is it hot in here or is it just HIM! Seriously, his body on his WORST day is like 10 times better than any guy on this show.

"Ugly Betty" is back!

Oh Justin, please don't leave my TV. Your gift to pick out anyone's weight and accesorizing is a gift to the world. Photo by ABC.com.

Last night, I was flipping through the channels and my DVR suddenly clicked on. I was rewarded with a NEW episode of "UB" and I immediately fell to my knees to thank the TV gods because they ended my suffering!

This episode was on fire but before i go recap, I have to say this little girl is my new favorite actress. I have loved her since she guest starred on this show about a teen-age detective who brought justice to a little down of Neptune. and she was sooo adorable. I'm telling you, remember her name: Juliette Goglila because she's going to be a big star and you heard it here first.

Last night, Betty struck a blow for pleasingly pump women everywhere when she saw Justin and his class idolize super skinny models and dis "real sized" women. As the conscious of Mode it took a while but she got Daniel and Alexis on board with the plan to show real-sized women as models and not size zero.

I have to admit that I'm addicted to "America's Next Top Model," "Make Me a Supermodel" and "Project Runway" but I'm always shocked at how skinny the women are! Yet, I love to watch. So in a way I'm contributing to the zero worship that's going on in the world. Even though I HATE with a passion this girl I felt it was unfair for the media to attack her for being a size two and calling her fat.

But, back to "Betty". The show was on point and once again had me laughing and nearly crying both at the same time. Catty Amanda is still on a search for her father and the touching talk that she and Betty had in the "secret sex room" brought me to tears. It home to for me because I've lost both parents in the last five years and it's something you never get over.

Mark had me in side-splitting laughter with this quote: "I'd never thought I'd say this to a woman but turn around and bend over." As he gave Willie and her "hostile womb" a hormone injection. Unfortunately, they're going to drag poor Christina in to be a surrogate to carry Willie and Bradford's baby.

The lone weak spot in the show was Bow Wow and Omarion guest starring. You know folks in the Midwest probably looked at each other and said "Who the heck are these clowns."

Next week: Betty might be pregnant????

R.I.P. Ida Greenberg: "Desperate Housewives" the recap

Poor Ida Greenberg, she died saving the Scavo kids from a tornado that hit Wisteria Lane. She told the kids to go under the stairs while she died in a corner alone. Photo by Wikipedia.

Tonight on "Desperate Housewives," we found out that Tom and the Scavo kids made it through the storm while Ida didn't. Poor Gaby learned that she really WAS poor since Victor left her nothing and she couldn't get the form to get the money from the off-shore account that Carlos had.

Bree had to pimp Andrew out to get the roof fixed while Susan and Julie were thrilled that Bree loves to cook and clean. Lynette felt extremely guilty so she wanted to honored Ida's last wish. Kathyrn's secret came dangerously close to being revealed.

Lee and Bob also took a moment to explain gay math to Bree.

And Andrew realized that he was being pimped out for a new roof and "windows" as Bree gleefully says. And the two of them negotiated for surround sound. Susan tried to throw a monkey wrench into the plan with this quote:

"Oh? This is a fix-up? It never would occurred me with the vast age difference? But what the hell, life is short. Especially for Walter."

And Orson counters with :"He's got a mesh tank top that would bring your ex to tears."

What is WRONG with these people?: "Deal or No Deal"

Greed is killing a lot of people's dreams on "Deal or No Deal." Photo by NBC.com

So tonight was another "stunt" episode of "Deal or No Deal," this time, the '70s and '80s. I'm SICK of the stunts and it's just plain tacky. That being said, the thing that really, gets my goat is that GREED is overwhelming rational behavior on this show. Over the last few weeks, people have left with .01, $5 and $100 all because they got greedy and didn't think about what's really on the board and their chances of walking away with some good money. Tonight's contestant during the '70s portion had an offer of $124,000 with a board of $750,000, $100,000, $50 and $50,0000 and he refused the offer. DUMB!! I couldn't stomach the last hour and instead turned over to "The Amazing Race."

We'll see if any stupid mistakes on this show raises my blood pressure.

Let me save you some time.....

Ben is one of the pretty people you'll see strutting his stuff on "Make Me a Supermodel". Photo by BravoTV.com

"Make me a Supermodel" ain't "America's Next Top Model" but since there isn't a lot to watch, it might be worth watching.

Here's a few observations: There are some people who are cute, pretty and gorgeous in America and don't tell them because they KNOW it already. Practically everyone on this show knew it and some of them need to eat some humble pie.

But the show isn't a total lose because we have FINE Tyson Beckford on the show! Yay!

Yay, the "Housewives" are back. But for one episode. Photo by ABC.com

Just saw a promo for Sunday's episode: We find out if Tom and the kids make it. I actually care and I'm shocked myself. Just when I thought I had given up, I find myself pining for this show. Dumb old writer's strike.

Survivor: Let's hope some people get it right this time

Oh James, now you're on the cast again, please WIN this time. Photo by CBS.com

Entertainment Weekly unveiled the new cast for the upcoming season of "Survivor" to say I am pumped is an understatement.

Looking at the "old-school" Survivors there were a few surprises. Cirie is back! And so's Amie and Parvarti but Jonathan? Really??? I'm glad to see Yau and Ozzie return as well as James but did we REALLY need Amanda? And if I were James, I'd make sure SHE was the first one to go, the way she engineered my kick off, I'd be behind hers and say "Payback is a you-know-what ain't it?."

My hope is that the newbies get kicked off quickly so we can get back to the "All Star" edition again. And of course, they really, really need to watch Johnny Fairplay because he's diiiirrrty.

Friday night doldrums

Bob Saget is back on my TV on Friday nights again. Why is Bob Saget back on my TV on Friday nights? Photo by NBC.com.

Yeah, I know it's early in the day but looking ahead, there ain't a lot going on during prime-time these days. And it's looking like starting next week, some shows will be rolling out their SEASON (not a misprint) finales. Yeah, in January.

This is going to really, really hurt the networks because of all that lost ad revenue and because some people may NOT come back when the shows finally return. I've decided to drop "Heroes" for now because I was soo disappointed with Maya's black eyes of death and how it meant NOTHING to the main story and how NBC cancelled "Journeyman" just when it was picking up steam.

Of course we now have gems such as "Celebrity Apprentice" and "American Gladiators" YUCK. Fox is rolling out a show called "Moment of Truth" where people try to outwit a lie detector.

I'm telling you people, televised executions will be next if we're all not careful.

In a way, I'm kinda glad for the strike because I'm going to be working a part-time gig and I need the time to focus on that so these recaps may go back to once a week for a while for all four of you who actually read this thing.

Tonight, I'll be watching "1 vs. 100" and "Women's Murder Club" and possibly "Dateline" or "20/20" which says whoopie for TV viewing. I'm hoping NBC will reshow "Law & Order" because I missed it the other night. And Sunday will bring the Amazing Race gang again so YAY on that!

Happy New Year: It's time for "The Biggest Loser"

It seems as if we just got finished with The Biggest Loser, oh, wait, we did! Meet Betty Sue and Ali, a mother/daughter team from Arizona. Photo by NBC.com

I gotta hand it to "The Biggest Loser," they keep things interesting. As many of you know a bunch of folks across world made New Year's Resolutions (including me) to lose weight. So of course NBC decides to kick off the new season of TBL on this day to remind people to keep their promise to themselves. It's a stroke of genius. Plus, since there's nothing else to watch because of the danged writers' strike, they might have hit the jackpot. Also, it cracked me up with the number of weight loss commericials in tonight's show.

It's too early to find a favorite just yet, but it looks as though this bunch wants it more than the others past. If you want to know more about this season's gang, watch this video here.

Oh my Goth! They're gone

Kynt killed his and Vxysin's chances to win the "Amazing Race." CBS.com

The Goths blew it. I was so rooting for them and then they just blew it. Nate and Jen made a few mistakes but it was nothing compared to Kynt and Vxysin. First they U-turned the wrong team and then Kynt didn't follow directions on the clue and then boom it was over.

They managed to complete the Speedbump in a great time and then they were ahead and then they lost their lead and never really recovered. So now my allegiance goes TK and Rachel.

They have class.

Checking out "The Office"

So far, I'm digging "The Office" at least Season 1. NBC.com

My colleagues, Mike S and Karla P have been telling me how good "The Office" is. My friend Leslie told me she was watching it tonight and so since three people I care about say it's good, I'm went home and watched the copy that Karla lent me Season 1 to watch. And after two episodes my partner and I have been laughing our you know what's off.

Early impressions: I love Pam. Steve Carell's character is so funny and I'm warming up to Rainn Wilson.

We're working our way through Season 1 right now and I think we'll be adding Season 2 to our Netflix list. I'm sorry I'm late to the party on this, but I'm here now.

I absolutely HATE NBC

Miss Patti, NBC robbed you last week in "Clash of the Choirs." Photo taken from Google images.

There is absolutly nothing on.

Before I wail away on this, let me go back to last week. I was desperately looking for something, anything to watch. I got sucked into "Clash of the Choirs" and I was actually entertained! If you missed it, five celebrities went to their hometowns and recruited people to be members of their choir. It came down to NIck Lachey and Patti LaBelle's choir and of course Nick's won. It sucked because Patti's was better and I think too many people thought Patti and her group had it in the bag and stopped voting.

And this is why NBC has broken my heart yet AGAIN. I don't know why I keep going back to NBC. We still don't know the fate of "journeyman," all signs point to it being cancelled but still no "official" word.

Luckily, CBS is stepping up their game with "The Amazing Race." My partner and his nephew tried out and they made this hilarious video and I hope they make the cut. If they do, I'll let the readers know.

Sunday, the goths had a nasty meltdown and they just couldn't get it together. However, they were spared from elimination because this was a non-elimination leg. Yay. The bad news, they have to do something called a "speedbump" where they have to do a task by themselves and then jump back into the race.

We'll see what happens on Sunday.

Can we get a Christmas miracle?: The Journeyman finale?

I feel sooo bummed right now. My show is gone. I pray NBC will reconsider. Photo by NBC.com

NBC is run by idiots. Enuff said. We need a miracle, oh please, TV gods, save this show.

As Dan said to Zach this episode: "Do you know how much I love you?" "To the moon and back." That's how much I love this show.

And now it's gone. What we learned: Dan's power was activated after another time traveler died. The suspicious doctor doesn't know about Livia and he thinks Dan is the last. He also revealed that people are watching him because he might know too much.

I just wish we got to know MORE!!!

Don't forget to watch the final episode of "Journeyman"

Poor Zach, daddy almost wiped you out last episode. NBC chose to wipe you all out and Words. Cannot. Express. How.SAD I. Am!!!!!! NBC sucks. For real. Photo by NBC.com

After Wednesday, it'll all be over. The BEST new show of the season will be gone because NBC didn't give the show a chance. It was well written, acted and amazing, but sadly no one watched except me and the cool kids. I'm totally buying the DVD if and when it comes out because it's worth it.

Last episode, Dan went back in time and left a digital camera which altered the course of the future and had a HUGE impact on his life because his son Zach wasn't conceived on the day he was supposed to be. Instead, Dan found he had a beautiful little girl named Caroline and was forced to make a choice. Live with Caroline or get back and get Zach back.

We also met a psychic who might have some answers as to why Dan is travelling in time and on Wednesday, we're supposed to get some answers. I hope that we finally will get the truth so we can let go. It's going to be hard to say goodbye but it usually is to good TV.

Anybody else feeling too danged fat?: The Biggest Loser finale!

Bill and his twin JIm kicked booty tonight on The Biggest Loser as Bill won $250,000 and Jim won $100,000. NBC.com

After all these weeks, we finally saw who earned the title of "The Biggest Loser." And HOORAY it was one of the most deserving people: Bill! Some people looked amazing :Bryan, Jerry, Jez and even cheating old Neil! Some notsomuch: Amber, Patty and Lezlye. I'm proud of all these people because it takes mucho, mucho dedication to keep eating correctly and exercising. I've been struggling for years and I still haven't mastered it. Thank goodness I'm not the weight that these people were and if the fates are willing, I won't be either!

Maybe can get motivated by the next group because the new season starts in two weeks which is on, yep, you guessed it New Years Day!

Clash of the Choirs: Team Patti all the way!

It's only Day 2 but I'm calling it. Patti's team will win. Photo by NBC.com

I wanted not to like this show. I got sucked in during the last 20 minutes on Monday when Patti LaBelle's team rocked the house. It took me back to my college days when I was the mascot of the gospel choir of the small liberal arts college I went to. We had some GREAT times on the road and although I can't carry a tune if you handed it to me, I know good music when I hear it.

It's tricky trying to get a bunch of folks to sing on key and in harmony. Patti's group is going this. Nick Lachey's group isn't bad either so I expect it be a battle between the two of them on Friday night. Thank goodness this is only a week but I will bet money they'll bring this show back.

And the gay Mormans shall inherit the Earth: Todd wins "Survivor"!

You'd be smiling too if you won $1 million for lying and backstabbing. Survivor: China." GAWD help us. CBS.com
And now it's over. Poor Amanda, a dumb decision left you holding the bag. You should have taken Denise and that would have made YOU the strongest player. All she did was sit there and look pitiful and unfortunately it didn't help you win.

I'm shocked, shocked, shocked that Todd won. I've discussed it over and over and Todd was never picked as my winner. Shows what I know. And my pick Amanda: Got one vote and that was from the virgin what's his name.

And his final appeal I think is what won him the needed votes. Courtney did surprisingly well because she got more votes than Amanda did including one from Denise who she said "sucks at life."

Speaking of sad, how sad was Denise's appeal to Amanda at the campfire saying this is all she had and that she would have to go back to making $7 as a lunch lady. I also felt awful for her because she said this ON NATIONAL TV where I'm almost certain her employers were watching. But of course it doesn't matter because she got canned! Oh, poor Denise... at least you won't be traumatizing kids with that mullet of yours. It's sad too that she's now a janitor. Sad, sad, sad.

And before I sign off: here's a shout-out to my homegirl who might have won.

And then there were four: "Survivor: China"

Here's my pick to win this year's "Survivor." Oh Amanda, you played a good game. Let's hope you win. CBS.com

I'll be honest, when this season started I didn't pick these people to be in the final four. It just goes to show you what I know.

This year's final four are Courtney the waitress, Todd the bitchy flight attendant, Denise the lunch lady and Amanda the hiking guide.

They all played a good game and backstabbed and blindsided most of the jury. But that's what "Surivor" is all about. That being said, Sunday's finale should be soooo interesting because we truly don't know which way this is going to go.

Todd could win because people respected that he was upfront most of the time from the get-go.

Courtney
could win by default because the jury might not like who she's up against.

Amanda could win because she played a pretty honest game and laid low until her master plan to get rid of James came into play.

Denise could win by default because she skated under the radar most of the time. And if she does win, could some spa please invite her to come so she can get some teeth whitening and a snazzy new 'do?

I hope these folks play smart because it really is anyone's ballgame.

If I were Denise, I'd take Todd because people really, really hate him. Ditto for Courtney. Todd is her ticket to the $1 million. Todd should take Courtney because folks hate her too and he might be lucky enough to win. Amanda needs to take Denise. Amanda could show how she used her wits to win while Denise just skated by.

So long, farewell and welcome back: Project Runway the recap

This outfit helped sister Christian to his first "PR"
win. Lord help us all.
Bravotv.com
Last night was one of the saddest/happiest episodes ever.
This week the designers had to make outfits for women who lost a ton of weight. The catch was they had to use material from each woman's favorite outfit pre-weightloss. One wound up wearing a wedding dress as her favorite outfit. (I'm like really? You really like that gawdawful dress?????) It kinda sucked because the material wasn't worthy of being re-done and who walks around saying her wedding dress was her favorite outfit?

Poor Steven drew that challenge and you knew it was going to be curtains for him. On the let's get even sadder front, Jack, the HIV+ designer was faced with a medical emergency a staph infection that was getting worse by the hour. He decided to leave the show so that he wouldn't put others at risk.

Now, don't hate me here readers but I have to bring this up: Didn't the show consider that he might be having some sort of emergency crisis? I know that he's been HIV+ for 17 years (basically ALL of his adult life) and that his body - while it is the eye candy that it is - and immune system might not be able to take the stress of a daily design competition? I'm not trying to be discriminatory, but seriously you'd think they'd have some sort of doctor on staff to deal with medical emergencies.

But just when our hearts were breaking and tears were dropping, they brought back Chris who was booted last week. And all was joyous in the land again!

While some of the women loved their fancy new duds, some weren't quite up to par with what the designers designed. A few were just downright wrong. And some were just fabric snobs which ultimately lead to the downfall of Steven.

Hey, if we're lucky he'll be brought back too!

No deal Howie: What's going on with "Deal or No Deal"

NBC is going to the well a few times too many for me with "Deal or No Deal." Photo by NBC. com

OK, I'm going to out myself: I like "Deal or No Deal." There, I've said it. Now, let me add this, I like it in controlled doses. For some reason, NBC is playing the HELL out of "DOND" this week with all these stunts like "Winner Take All" and a "Wheel of Fortune" like gimmick. That being said, they need to stop it. Stick to the folks picking the cases and let that be that.

They also need to stop picking these over the top folks like they have the past few episodes. I felt so bad for the girl who was a part of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority who wound up with $1,000 when she was poised to win more than $100,000 or the black woman who SCREAMED! EVERYTHING!! AT!!! HOWIE!!!!!!!! I mean good freaking LORD, who picked her?

I know they want people who will give them good television but a twirling, dancing minstral show is a bit much for me.

Reality week

This is the winner of "America's Next Top Model." Although she's good, there WAS someone better. Photo by CWTV.

With the writers' strike continuing, get ready for more than your fair share of reality TV. In fact it might be all reality, all the time.

But some reality TV will be taking a bow in the next few days to make way for a new batch of cringeworthy badness. Case in point: Tonight is the finale of "America's Next Top Model." Say what you want about Tyra "Kiss my fat ass!" Banks but she knows how to put forth an entertaining show. My guess is that Saleisha (pictured) will take the top prize because she's got everything the judges are looking for. It kinda sucks because there was a stronger model in the bunch but because of her form of autism, it prevented her from landing in the final three.

"Survivor" has its final episodes this week as we narrow the final five down to the final four and then to the final three during a two hour finale. It's been a crazy season and lord only knows who's going to win. Since my guy lost two episodes ago, I really don't care but I don't want Todd the bitchy queen to win.

And: Note to casting directors, not ALL gay men are bitchy 24/7 nor are we FAB-U-LOUS all the time either. This ain't "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

So now let's look at the new batch of shows: Tonight we have "Crowned" on the CW about a mother/daughter beauty pageant. (YAWN) and then NBC is rolling out "American Gladiators" which shows how desperate they are. What worked for the '80s won't work for the 00's I fear. I hope this crashes and burns quickly. And NBC also has this little gem to add: "Clash of the Choirs. which they have been promoing endlessly. I love Patti LaBelle but I want her gone from my set please. This show reminds me of "The Next Great American Band". What's that? You don't know TNGAB? Me either because I don't watch FOX.

It's only going to get worse and worse since the A-list shows are going to be on hiatus. Luckily we have cable and Netflix to keep our minds occupied.

It's over y'all: Journeyman has been cancelled.

You were too good for NBC Mr. Journeyman. NBC sucks. Photo by NBC.com

I'm at a loss for words. NBC is really stupid for letting this show go.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! "The Amazing Race" the recap

A costly mistake costs Azaria and Hendeka the race. Photo by CBS.com

Before the recap, tryouts were yesterday here in San Diego. More than 1,500 people showed up including my partner and his nephew. They arrived in line at 6:15 and waited until 4 p.m. and didn't get seen. The reason was the cameras malfuctioned and they got a form to fill out and a note to tell them to mail their DVDs and application within a few weeks. They were No. 390 out of 1,500 people. So with a little work they might be able to make the race.

OK, now the recap of this episode: H&A got screwed. Screwed! I tell you. He told the travel agent "ECONOMY" and they gave them "BUSINESS" class tickets. And they just couldn't recover from that which sucks, sucks, sucks. It's sooo not fair. I'm so disgusted, I'm not going to tell you about how Nate and Jen screamed at each other and how Ronald is still and ass but Christina is a saint. And I love that Nate and Jen got beat by Ron and Christina. I love that Phil made them go back and come back! And I have to say it's funny how Ron did a shoutout to Charla and Mirna because they didn't know what a catamaran was.

Loved her melting down!!! and I knew that we were in trouble because they didn't even show H&A after the first 15 min.

I'm Wilhemina Slater and I don't get wet: "Ugly Betty"

His milkshake still brings Betty to the yard. Photo by ABC.com

I love "Ugly Betty" so much that I want to run away and make babies with it. OK, that was so dramatic but you get the point.
This episode, Betty was bored with Henry and wanted some excitement. Gio swooped back into the picture and caught Betty's attention much to Henry's dismay. But Hilda, who knows a good thing when she sees it, decided to give Gio a try.

Betty White guest starred and stole the show. She's put a kink in Willie's plan to open "Slater" magazine. Meanwhile, Daniel and Alexis fought for control of Meade publication during a paintball fight.

Henry, meanwhile, unveiled a fantastic body (who knew???) during an evening of dancing. And Hilda realized that Gio has it bad for Betty. (poor HIlda).

And Daniel asked Alexis if they could run Meade together but she took the shot and won the competition. Gio asked HIlda out but she realized that he likes Betty.

Meanwhile, the other Betty has the best line of the night: I'm going on TV with whore eyes. And Betty took this opportunity to milk the feud for more publicity.

And Willie pulled out one last trick to help stay in Meade: Bradford's baby. EWWWW

Ding, dong the witch is gone: America's Next Top Model

YAAAyyyyyy!!!!!. Photo by CWTV.com

They finally kicked the byotch out!!! Thank you Jebus! Girlfriend was EEEEEEEVIIIILLLLL and STAAAANNNKKKK and NAAAASTTY.

Tyra finally called her out on her naturalness in her moves and poses. She's "pretty" (it's debatable) and she's got a "strong face" but I hope she goes back to Queens and stays there.

I'm a bit sad because next week is the finale. My guess for the winner? This girl.

"I am my best person when I have less on my plate": Tuesday's "Oprah"

This book is changing the face of the world. Image from Amazon.com

I normally recap primetime shows but as a closet "Oprah" watcher I had to talk about today's show. If you haven't heard about "Eat, Pray, Love" then you've probably been living under a rock. Don't be surprised if folks give you a copy for the holidays because people are flocking to it as if it were the Bible.

The premise: After realizing the life of her dreams, WASN'T what she wanted, author Elizabeth Gilbert decided to leave everything behind and go to Italy, India and then Bali to discover what the true meaning of HER life was.

I was skeptical at first but after watching these legions of women go on and on about how great the book was, I may give it a try during the writer's strike. When Oprah herself is looking at you like you're the greatest thing since sliced bread, it might be worth your time to give it a gander.

The author is a hoot and she's that partyguest that you'd want to stay after the last guest is gone.
